Stella is one of the UK’s premier family and lifestyle photographers, with over 25 years’ experience helping people cherish the moments that matter.
What did they need?
Help to visualise what the Stella brand could be! Stella ran a successful studio-based photography business under a different brand for many years. But with the huge changes to the professional photography market in the last few years, that brand had associations that needed to be left behind in order to create a fresh identity. The proposition was great, Stella just needed a fresh pair of eyes to help her see how it needed to change.

What did we do?
Sufu undertook competitor research to help Stella see how the market had changed, and then created a new brand proposition based around the strapline “Premium photography, beautifull presented“. For any visual artist, their brand is especially personal so this process involved a lot of discussion about Stella’s photographic worldview, her aesthetic and the kind of work she loves to create. All of that had to be respresented in the brand, whilst also encouraging her confidence to be a stronger personal brand, now that the studio was no longer a hub to build around. Sufu then provided guidance and copyediting for the re-writing of the stellascordellis.com website, whilst allowing Stella to find her voice through drafting the copy herself. This was a very worthwhile process, as well being cost-effective!
