I recently rediscovered a talk I’d given at a networking event back in 2019. As we resume in-person networking in 2022 these points are still valid, and perhaps more important than ever.
Networking is an incredibly fast way of generating leads. There is a dogma about “know, like and trust” that makes it sound incredibly time-consuming. It isn’t. The fastest client acquisitions I have ever made have all come from networking… when I have followed up an initial meeting effectively. That’s what this talk is all about. Enjoy!
